IMDB rating: 7.70 Plot: In the year 2054 A.D. crime is virtually eliminated from Washington D.C. thanks to an elite law enforcing squad “Precrime”. They use three genetically altered humans (called “Pre-Cogs”) with special powers to see into the future and predict crimes beforehand. John Anderton (Tom Cruise) heads Precrime and believes the system’s flawlessness steadfastly. However one day the Pre-Cogs predict that Anderton will commit a murder himself in the next 36 hours. Worse, Anderton doesn’t even know the victim. He decides to get to the mystery’s core by finding out the ‘minority report’ which means the prediction of the female Pre-Cog Agatha (Samantha Morton) that “might” tell a different story and prove Anderton innocent. |

What is the movie "Minority Report" about?

Get off of here and watch it, it’s a great movie
It takes place in the future where criminals are arrested for crimes they haven’t comitted yet when their names come up(so the police are preventing the crimes) . Tom Cruise plays one of the cops and the story kicks off when HIS name comes up.

one of if not the best Tom Cruise movie, in the future, a set of triplets can see into the future and see every crime that is going to be committed. Tom Cruise is the head of this and they haven’t had a crime in 10 years. some how he gets framed and he tries to prove his innocence. I great film. with a good twist

Basically about a law enforcement computer that can predict when someone can commit a crime, then the police can arrest the person before the crime is committed.

The protagonist gets accused of a crime he will commit and is on the run from the police. The computer is actually based around three psychic children that are attached to it with wires. The consensus of their predictions is used to determine when a crime will be committed. However, if one disagrees, they are considered the minority. The name of the movie comes from the differing prediction by that one psychic: The Minority Report.

its about cops who work with psychics who tell them when a murder is going to be committed and the cops go and arrest the guy before he commits the murder and puts them in a coma with a device and puts them in a institution
