Aids is a disease that has been infecting people all over the world, mainly in Africa. No one knows for sure how Aids originated and there are many different theories. Some theories are too irrational to seem true, and some seem more rational, but we do not know for sure which is true.
One theory accepted by almost everyone is that HIV came from SIV. SIV is a disease monkeys have carried for a very long time. SIV does not harm the monkey. Now, many people argue about how the virus spread from the monkey to the human so suddenly in the past century. (Soares)
